Domain Registration

Registering a domain with Pinuno.Net is simple:

  1. Visit our homepage and search for your desired domain name
  2. If available, add it to your cart
  3. Proceed to checkout and create an account or login
  4. Enter your registrant information and complete payment
  5. Your domain will be registered and ready to use immediately

We offer a wide variety of domain extensions including:

  • .com.gh - Ghana country code top-level domain
  • .com - Generic commercial domain
  • .net - Network domain
  • .org - Organization domain
  • .info - Information domain
  • And many more specialized extensions

Use our search tool to check availability and pricing for any TLD.

Domain registration is typically instant after payment is processed. Your domain becomes active immediately and you can start managing its DNS settings right away. In rare cases where additional verification is required, it may take up to 24 hours.

Yes, we offer WHOIS privacy protection to keep your personal information private. This masks your registrant details in the public WHOIS database. You can enable this feature during registration or add it to an existing domain from your account dashboard.

Most domain registries enforce a 3-character minimum for new registrations. Short domains like x.com or q.com exist because they were registered in the early 1990s before these policies took effect.

The minimum length requirement exists because:

  • Scarcity - Only 36 possible single-character and 1,296 two-character combinations exist
  • Reservation - Many short names are reserved for country codes (us, uk) or special purposes
  • Premium pricing - Some registries sell 2-character domains at significantly higher prices

Our search requires 3 characters because the TLDs we offer (.com.gh and other ECOWAS extensions) follow this minimum requirement for all new registrations.

Domain Transfer

Transferring a domain is straightforward:

  1. Search for your domain on our website and select "Transfer"
  2. Request the authorization code (EPP code) from your current registrar
  3. Enter the authorization code during checkout
  4. Complete payment for the transfer
  5. Approve the transfer request at your current registrar
  6. Your domain will be transferred within 5-7 business days

No, your website and email will continue to work during the transfer process. As long as your DNS records are properly configured, there will be no interruption in service.

Log into your account at your current registrar and request the authorization code (also called EPP code or transfer code). You'll typically find this option in your domain management panel. The code is usually sent to the registered email address within minutes.

DNS Management

You can manage your DNS records from your Pinuno.Net account:

  1. Log into your account
  2. Navigate to your domain's DNS settings
  3. Add, edit, or delete DNS records as needed (A, CNAME, MX, TXT, etc.)
  4. Changes on Pinuno.Net's nameservers take effect within minutes; global propagation can take up to 24–48 hours depending on TTL and your ISP's DNS cache

DNS (Domain Name System) translates your domain name into IP addresses that computers use to find your website. DNS records tell the internet where your website is hosted and how to route emails sent to your domain. Without proper DNS configuration, your domain won't work.

Yes, you can point your domain to custom nameservers if you prefer to use a different DNS provider. This can be configured in your domain settings. If you're using Pinuno.Net's nameservers, you can manage records directly from your account.

Web Services

SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) Certificates are digital certificates that encrypt the connection between your website and your visitors' browsers. They're essential for:

  • Security: Encrypts sensitive data like passwords, credit card information, and personal details
  • Trust: Shows a padlock icon in browsers, building visitor confidence
  • SEO: Google ranks HTTPS websites higher than HTTP sites
  • Compliance: Required for e-commerce and sites handling sensitive information

Pinuno.Net offers SSL certificates that are easy to install and compatible with all major browsers. Your website will display HTTPS in the address bar, ensuring visitors know their connection is secure.

Domain Privacy Protection (also called WHOIS Privacy) shields your personal contact information from the public WHOIS database. Here's how it works:

  • Privacy Shield: Your real name, address, email, and phone number are hidden from public view
  • Proxy Information: We display our privacy service contact details instead of yours
  • Spam Prevention: Significantly reduces spam emails and unwanted solicitations
  • Identity Protection: Prevents domain snooping and personal information harvesting

You remain the legal owner of your domain, and all legitimate communications are forwarded to you securely. This service is particularly valuable for individuals and small businesses who want to maintain their privacy online.

Our Daily Backup service automatically protects your domain data every day:

  • DNS Records: All your DNS configurations are backed up daily
  • Domain Settings: Registration details, nameservers, and contact information
  • Quick Restore: Instantly restore to any backup point if needed
  • Retention: We keep 30 days of backup history
  • Peace of Mind: Never worry about accidental deletions or configuration errors

Account & Login

Click on "Sign up" in the top navigation and fill in the required information. You'll need to provide a valid email address and create a password. Alternatively, you can create an account during the checkout process when registering or transferring a domain.

Click "Forgot password?" on the login page and enter your email address. You'll receive a password reset link via email within minutes. Click the link and create a new password. If you don't receive the email, check your spam folder or contact support@pinuno.net.

Yes! With a single Pinuno.Net account, you can register, manage, and renew as many domains as you need. All your domains will appear in your account dashboard for easy management.

Yes. For your security, your session will expire after 30 minutes of inactivity. You will be redirected to the login page and any unsaved changes will be lost. Checking the "Remember Me" box at login keeps you signed in across browser restarts, but an idle session will still time out after 30 minutes of inactivity.

Yes. Once you are logged in, a dark mode toggle button is available in the sidebar navigation. Your preference is saved in your browser and restored automatically on your next visit. Logging out clears the preference and the site returns to light mode.

Billing & Payment

We accept the following payment methods:
  • Credit cards (Visa, Mastercard, American Express)
  • PayPal
  • Bank transfers

No, we believe in transparent pricing. The price you see during checkout is exactly what you'll pay. There are no hidden fees or surprise charges. All applicable taxes are calculated and displayed before you complete your purchase.

Yes, you'll receive an invoice via email immediately after your purchase. You can also access all your invoices from your account dashboard under "Billing" or "Invoices". Invoices can be downloaded as PDF for your records.

All domain registration and transfer fees are non-refundable once processed. This is standard across all domain registrars — once a registration is submitted to the registry, the fee cannot be recovered.

If you believe there was a billing error or a technical fault on our side, please contact support@pinuno.net and we will review your case individually.

PayPal payments open in a small popup window so you can complete payment without leaving the current page. If the popup is blocked by your browser, a notification will appear asking you to allow popups for this site. Once allowed, click the Pay button again and the popup will open normally.

The popup connects directly to PayPal's secure servers. Your card details are entered on PayPal — Pinuno.Net never sees or stores your payment credentials.

Yes. If you have a credit balance, open the invoice and click Apply Credit. The credit is applied as a discount line item on the invoice. If it covers the full amount the invoice is marked paid automatically. If a balance remains, you can then pay the remaining amount via PayPal. The PayPal payment window will show only the reduced outstanding balance.

Renewal & Expiration

You can renew your domain from your account dashboard. Log in, navigate to your domain, and click "Renew". You can renew for 1-10 years at a time. You'll also receive email reminders 30, 14, and 7 days before your domain expires.

After expiration your domain enters a short grace period before it becomes unrecoverable:

  • 0–5 days (Grace Period): Your domain is inactive but can still be renewed at the regular price.
  • After 5 days (Redemption): The domain enters a redemption period. Recovery may be possible but incurs significantly higher fees.
  • After redemption: The domain is released back to the registry and becomes available for anyone to register.

We send reminders at 30, 14, and 7 days before expiration. Renew before expiry to avoid any disruption.

Auto-renewal is enabled by default on all domains. Before expiration, your domain will automatically renew using your stored payment method and you will receive a notification email. You can disable auto-renewal at any time from your domain settings if you prefer to renew manually.

If issues persist, contact our support team with details about your domain and the problem.

Developer API

Yes. Pinuno.Net provides a REST API for DNS management. You can manage DNS zones, records, templates, dynamic DNS updates, zone file import/export, and more programmatically. The full interactive API reference is available at api-doc.

Log in to your account, go to Account → API Access, and click the eye icon to reveal your token. Use it in the Authorization header of every request:
Authorization: Bearer <your_token>
Keep your token private. You can regenerate it at any time from the same page, which immediately invalidates the old one.

The interactive Swagger UI is at /api-doc. It lists every endpoint, required parameters, request/response schemas, and lets you try requests directly in the browser once you paste your token into the Authorize button.

The API covers:
  • Zones — create, list, update, delete, sync to nameservers
  • Records — add/edit/delete A, AAAA, CNAME, MX, TXT, NS, SRV, CAA records
  • Dynamic DNS (DDNS) — update a hostname's IP automatically from a script or router
  • Templates — save and apply record sets to multiple zones
  • Zone file — import/export standard RFC 1035 zone files
  • Delegation — configure NS delegation from a parent zone to a subdomain
  • Query — perform live DNS lookups against any resolver
